One of the most beautiful things about living in Crestwood is being surrounded on three sides by Rock Creek Park. This green oasis in the middle of our city purifies our air, improves our mental and physical health, and increases our home values.

You’re invited to learn more about this extraordinary Park - its flora, fauna, natural and cultural history.  The Crestwood Citizen's Association (CCA) is sponsoring a free, friendly, leisurely walk in the woods this Saturday morning, April 30th.  This free event is limited to CCA members only.  If you are not a member, please first join the CCA by paying the $25 annual dues, then register for the nature walk.  This event is for adults.  We will hold subsequent events for kids/teens.

We will focus on expanding our knowledge and appreciation for this diverse forest and its wildlife and in doing so open ourselves up to deepening our experience of its healing beauty.

We will meet at the park trail entrance near the intersection of Quincy Street and Argyle Terrace at the home of walk leader, Doug Barker, 1901 Quincy Street, at 10am.  The walk will last about one hour.

If you register and then are unable to attend, please cancel so people on the waitlist can access the event.

This website and the Crestwood Citizens Association is supported by the dues of CCA members. Membership has its benefits including access to members-only resources and the knowledge that you are supporting a great neighborhood!
