Annual Meeting - Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 7pm

The Crestwood Citizens Association Annual Meeting will take place virtually on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 via Zoom. Please click here to access the meeting. If you do not want to use Zoom, you may dial in by telephone by calling (301) 715-8592 and entering the meeting ID 883 0129 7863.

The current plan is not to open up the meeting for spoken questions or comments - rather, it will be a presentation-only meeting with the Board speaking and responding to written questions/comments. Neighbors will have an opportunity to make comments through the Zoom chat function or by sending an email. We will have Board members monitoring both avenues in real time and will be able to raise questions and comments with the group as appropriate. We know this is not ideal, and we appreciate everyone's understanding.

We will not be voting on Board officers at the meeting. Rather, paid CCA members will receive information on how to vote by email prior to the meeting.

The following current Board members will be running for re-election: Doug Barker and John Favazzo for Vice President, Carey DeMatteis for Treasurer, and Pat Kennedy for Secretary. 

My family (husband Jack, son Leo, and daughter Zeina) have called Crestwood home for almost eight years. Our pandemic pup, Geordi joined our family last year. In 2016 I began the Crestwood Turkey Trot to build community while raising funds for a worthy cause. On Thanksgiving Day 2020, more than 190 neighbors helped us celebrate our 5th anniversary by raising more than $3000. During this time I’ve worked closely with the CCA and have a great appreciation for its efforts to improve our community.

As President, my goals for the Association are: 

• Increasing community engagement by welcoming new neighbors and increasing retention of long-term residents 
• Improving neighborhood communication
• Growing the number of households who are active CCA members
